Every year since my birth, I have visited Disney World without fail. However, when it came time to plan my first trip as a mom, the experience felt entirely different—overwhelming and unfamiliar. I found myself drowning in countless videos, consumed by the fear of forgetting a critical item that could ruin our trip… I had turned what should be an exciting experience into an intimidating chore. This realization drove me to become a travel agent in the hopes that I could alleviate the stress of other mothers planning their own trips.
Then, in 2024, something happened that caused me to re-evaluate my entire approach as a travel agent and go back to the drawing board: I went to Disneyland for the first time. Trying to navigate a park I knew nothing about—the processes, the layout, the transportation—allowed me to step into the shoes of my clients for the very first time. From this experience, I realized that what families truly need is not a rigid itinerary filled with unknowns from an expert- but rather a guide who empowers them to create their own plans.
